Main Street School & Kindergarten Center hyper-FOCUS on KINDNESS during December. Our school & our community need students & members that care about others & show it. The December focus on Kindness is sponsored by Yen Ching Chinese Restaurant & owner, Jay Jin.
The focus w/ KINDNESS obviously has an anti-bullying message that is reinforced all year.
Our "mantra" @ Main Street School & Kindergarten Center is "BE NICE; WORK HARD."
Main Street & Kindergarten is very proud to announce December 2022 KINDNESS Student-Leaders. Students were identified w/ combination of teacher observation & peer input.
Middle school band and choir Winter Concert happening now in SHS auditorium!

Final grades for the semester will be updated and confirmed in January. Report cards will be mailed. As is always the case, parents and students can check the status of course grades using the Tyler SIS web portal.

Fri.-Night Before Christmas (Wear your coziest PJs)
Congratulations to the November T.O.P. (Treating Others Politely) students of the month: 4th- Bristol P., 5th- Hunter T., 6th- Alivia S., 7th- David L., & 8th- Crew L.!
Shout out the SHS welding class and Mr. Welch. They repaired the bike racks at Moulton that were bent and rusting. They even threw on a nice coat of purple paint. They look great!
MEMORIES were made Friday night @ the SHS Boys' Basketball HOME opener vs. Okaw Valley w/ a BIG WIN & we witnessed the start of a tradition! Our Kindergarten crew led the gym of Shelbyville FANS & ALUMNI in the School "FIGHT SONG" followed by a group picture w/ the SHS Boys' Basketball TEAM & Cheerleaders!
You could feel the Shelbyville RAM PRIDE & it was AWESOME!

Thank you to CPO Brandon Barnes for speaking with our Natural Resources class for our Hunter Safety Course.
The public is encouraged to join Moulton and SHS as we celebrate our nation's veterans! We are returning to an in-person program this year. The celebration will be on Nov. 10th at 9:30 a.m. in the SHS gym. Breakfast will be provided for the veterans starting at 8:15 a.m. in the SHS cafeteria.
