Mrs. Duckett's class participating in #StartWithHello. Today was a drama circle activity. Students read through a play about ways to include a new student at lunch time. Each group performed for the class after they practiced.

Kindergarten "Grandparents' Day" 2018 was AWESOME! I hope the G-Parents enjoyed the experience getting in the school & classrooms. I am very impressed w/ our students & Teacher TEAM. The performance w/ (6) songs & hand/body movements was wonderful! Nice work, Charity Astrouski!





Shelbyville High School Senior & Miss Teen of Illinois, Cassidy Tucker, addressed Main Street Students today regarding kindness w/ "Bravery vs. Bullying" campaign. Cassidy is also a past student of mine!

Main Street had 1st FIRE DRILL today. The students were cooperative & calm. Teachers were prepared & the process was very efficient. ALL 300+ students were evacuated, organized & accounted for in under (5) minutes. Safety is a Priority in "the VILLE!"
